The Porvoo Contact Group (comprised of church representatives from across the Communion's membership), along with Primates and Presiding Bishops, met this week in London. The Church of England hosted this joint meeting, during which guests explored social and political topics of interest to churches, visited the Houses of Parliament with Archbishop Stephen Cottrell, and celebrated evensong at Westminster Abbey, which was the site of the Porvoo Declaration signing thirty years

The Council of Lutheran Churches was delighted to host the final day of the United Reformed Church’s theological consultation with its partner church, the Evangelische Kirche der Pfalz in Germany, at St George’s German Lutheran Church. Following today’s Service of Thanksgiving, we took a moment to look back at the past 13 years of St Anne’s Lutheran Church at St Mary-at-Hill. Through photographs, we remembered the people, places and moments that have shaped our community — the ordinary Sundays and special celebrations, the laughter and the prayers, the baptisms and confirmations, the music, the ministry, the friendships and all the memories made along the way. The London Swahili Service marked over 50 years of worshipping together with a special anniversary Festival Eucharist on 18 July 2026 at St. Mary-at-Hill Church, London. Christ is risen! Alleluia! Last night, St Anne's gathered for a beautiful Easter Vigil service as we celebrated the resurrection of our Lord. Pastor Maris presided over the service, with Pastor Meelis preaching. Paul shared his gift of music, and members of the congregation took part in reading the lessons. On Saturday, September 23rd, 2023, the Lutheran Church in Great Britain celebrated the ordination of two new priests, Rebecca Daniel and Wilkins Tang at St. Anne’s Lutheran Church in London.
