A time to worship, remember, and celebrate together This October and November, we warmly invite you to join us for a series of special Reformation Sunday services across the North of England. Reformation Sunday is an opportunity to reflect on the history and continuing significance of the Reformation, while gathering together in worship, prayer, music and fellowship. 25th October 10.30am – Holy Communion, Leeds 6.30pm – Choral Vespers, St Michael and All Angels’, Headingley

My vocation journey was not a simple or straight road. After many turns and twists I was ordained as a deacon in the Church of England but for various reasons I left ministry before I was priested. Or at least, I thought I left ministry. Vocation never leaves us, and ministry finds a way to continue, even if feels more like weeds forcing their way up between the paving stones rather than a well-tended rose-garden. I’m so glad for my decision to go into the Gustaf Adolf Church

The LCiGB Synod took place in Liverpool on Saturday, 25 April. The focus was safeguarding, under the theme “Safe to Serve, Called to Care.” A short training session and discussion on recent LCiGB guidance were led by the LCiGB Dean, Laura Haupt. It was wonderful to receive updates from parishes across the country and to welcome new representatives to the Synod.
