About Us
St Luke's and St Matthew's Lutheran Church is a member of the Lutheran Church in Great Britain. We meet every Sunday at 10.30am for worship. Most weeks we have a Communion Service but on some occasions this is replaced by a service of the word or another service such as a Taizé service, or a healing service. Our times of Worship are usually followed by a time of fellowship. All are welcome to join us on a Sunday!
Meet the Pastor
Joseph Nelson
During his Theology Degree Joseph started to read Luther and the Augsburg Confession and decided to visit St Luke’s where he found a home and has been ever since. He discerned ministry with the LCiGB and was Ordained in April of 2022. Joseph is the pastor of St Luke’s and St Matthew’s in Leeds. Prior to Ordination he had a variety of roles and currently works at Universities Chaplaincy in Leeds along with his work at St Luke’s.
