Spring 2012: Charity Commission Guidance

The Charity Commission has issued updated guidance that is relevant to all congregations, whether or not they are formally registered as charities.
Congregations are strongly encouraged to familiarise themselves with the Charity Commission’s guidance, which provides helpful information on good governance, financial responsibility, and compliance with charity law.

In particular, the online publication “Managing Charity Assets and Resources: An Overview for Trustees” offers clear and practical guidance on matters including financial management and fundraising.

Please use this form to submit a claim for expenses incurred in attending meetings or in connection with other LCiGB business. Please note that expense claims should be posted directly to the Treasurer at the address listed on the form, rather than to the LCiGB office.
