Trinity LC extended celebrations of Dr Elina Wright's Ordination to Priesthood (25 April in Liverpool) and worshiped with thanksgiving yesterday, when the new Pastor presided over Holy Communion, her husband, prof. Andy Wright (licensed lay minister in the Church of England) preached, and Intern Natalia Pierson led. The LCiGB Synod took place in Liverpool on Saturday, 25 April. The focus was safeguarding, under the theme “Safe to Serve, Called to Care.” A short training session and discussion on recent LCiGB guidance were led by the LCiGB Dean, Laura Haupt. It was wonderful to receive updates from parishes across the country and to welcome new representatives to the Synod.
