Churches Together in England's Autumn meeting of the Enabling Group concluded with a devotional from CTE President (for the 4th Presidency Group) Bishop Paulina Hlawiczka-Trotman. As one of the topics for consideration was the church's engagement with artificial intelligence, Bishop Paulina invited participants to test everything and hold onto what is good (cf 1 Thessalonians 5:21), summarising, 'No technology can replace the value of human relationships, the responsibility of conscience, the experience of compassion or the mystery of faith.'

The CTE Enabling Group brings together representatives of Member Churches, Intermediate Bodies and Charities and Networks in Association, meeting twice annually to nurture ecumenism, consider governance matters, and discuss issues of common concern.
